What is deferred sending and what is it for?

Modified on Tue, 29 Mar, 2022 at 3:11 PM

In the Send basic and Send to groups forms, the deferred sending functionality is incorporated.

The deferred sending allows to divide mass sendings into different segments or sub-sendings of equal number of messages and spaced in time intervals. The user can select the number of deferred sendings and the time between sendings (in minutes).

It is possible to make a scheduled deferred sending for a specific day and time or on the contrary to start it at the moment of pressing the Send button. All pending deferred sendings will be displayed in the Scheduled Pending section from where they can be cancelled or sent at that time.

Deferred sending has two objectives:

  • Defer or space out possible actions (replies, web visits, calls, dialogs, chats, etc.) from message recipients.
  • To reduce the probability that the filters of carriers and destination devices classify mass sendings as unwanted messages or SPAM.
