What is the KYC process and what is it for?

In the event that our technicians do not have verifiable data or there are suspicions about the data provided by an account at the time of validation (after the first purchase), they will be asked by email to complete it:

  • A form with additional data

  • A KYC (Know Your Customer) process.

The KYC process consists of providing the following documents via a camera device:

  • Selfie photo of the person responsible for the account and holder of the payment method (card) with which the first purchase was made.

  • Capture (both sides) of an official identification document (national ID card, driving licence or passport).

This process, which in most cases takes less than 5 minutes, helps us to reliably identify our new customers in order to make our platform and the SMS channel a secure environment free of fraud and malpractice.
